Thoughts

We were getting told how to correctly us the cameras in last lesson, i was quite familiar with most of the functions after using the cameras before but we got told in more depth than what i knew so it was good to know the information.

I was hoping to get a cinema looking effect but in that you apparently loose the quality of image so I'm now in a dilemma to what to do. i think i will go for the HD high quality look due to i don't want ti to look rubbish. I still need to film the first scene, I'm currently working on what script there is but mainly it is voice over that is on the trailer so it isn't much of an issue. I can record my voice over at any time and then edit it into my trailer whenever i feel it is rite.

I need to get this trailer rite because i want it to have an impact on the audience. I have a great idea going through my mind but its not as easy doing it as just thinking it. The difficulty at the moment is also the time of shooting, i need both night and day and to be in a place like London at night shooting seems a bit daunting but everything should be fine. Close places that i shoot in wont be a problem. I am still thinking of what plugs to put on an intro page, i don't know what 'awards' the film has gotten as it begins. I'm thinking Baftas and Oscars but i may be wrong in thinking this. This is something i need to go over in more detail, but once again it isn't a big issue at the moment due to i have bigger things to worry about, like shooting it first.

I may struggle with my friend Cara playing 'Eliza' acting due to she is a little shy and this may show in the eventual playback, I'm hoping to sort this out by making it really calm and casual while shooting. I think the best way is to have a laugh whilst i do it, that way everyone is chilled out and hopefully no one feels out of place. I know that Pete playing Danny will be fine and myself playing Hearts. The good thing is that I've sorted out my scenes so that the camera whilst filming is shooting a wide shot, this way all i have to do is set the equipment up and start recording, there will be no issues with needing someone to do it for me. I will be doing all the filming.

I'm trying to use as many different types of cinematography as possible, hopefully this will provide a better outcome while watching it. The montage may consist a voice over but if not a voice over there definitely will be gangster music, i need this music to set the feel to the audience music will be a big factor of my trailer, my next post will be different songs.
