I am currently drawing more ideas for my poster and magazine. I am going to use a programme called Quark Express, this is the programme i used for my AS Media, i think it gives a good effect and is very precise with every last bit of detail you add. The weather hasn't been very good lately so i haven't been able to go out and find any inspiration for my cover or my trailer.
I am trying to think of ways i can merge cross media convergence of my film trailer. I think i can only do this once the filming has finished and edited, then it can be placed on mobile phones and sent around which would build up hype about the film. I have arranged to go down to London around early December time to start shooting. I can shoot the start of my trailer at any point due to the location/setting of the first scene is only 20 Min's away. I want to try and get ground fog which will really set the scene so i will have to get up very early in the morning to begin shooting. Knowing that i cant control the weather i can only hope there will be ground fog, if not i will continue to shoot and make the best of out of the scenery i have.
In the past few days i have been worrying about who to have do the voice over for my trailer, I'm starting it off with the grave scene and a voice over this will then be broken up but a gum fire. after a long-ish first scene i will be showing a montage of scenes with gangster music, i aim to blend these in the best i can in sequence so the viewers will get an idea of what happens in the film. I'm going to end the trailer with a cliff hanger leaving the audience thinking whats just happened? Who got shot? Those type of things.
