Collective identity within the media

I need to represent identity for each of my characters, identity within media can be a muddle, everyone wishes to have an identity, something unique about our self, representing this in my trailer will give the audience a feel of knowing with whats going on eg. ' I've been there before'. Interpellation - the social.ideological practice of misrecognising our self can be seen in today's media. the fact that people are seen as we want to be seen is a matter that is beyond peoples capability. What i mean by this is that, girls for instance look at a magazine cover, there is a beautiful model on the cover and they want to look like that. Matters like this is what is currently providing people their identity in my opinion. an example is shown below.

As you can see the picture above is gut wrenching. If these are the lengths people go to to have their ideal identity then it obviously plays a huge part in peoples lives. This will have a big impact on my trailer. I aim to stereotype each person ed Hearts and Danny will be in hoodies, urban associated and their physical performance will look different to Elizas which will be smartly dressed and posh. Hopefully taking the stereotypes to the extreme will convey to the audience in the way i want it to.

The types of identity in my trailer are shown below.

As you can see a Gangster a Posh Woman and a Thug. These are the stereotypes i wish to put into my trailer.
