Time --- 9:50 am
Shot at --- Long Sutton Church Yard
Time Taken ---- 90 mins
In this first scene i obviously had a lot of ambient lighting to shoot the tilt of the church and for one of my slight pans. This worked out in my favor due to the day wasn't particularly nice which was fine because i wanted the church to be light and then when i shot Danny sitting at his mothers grave stone i had low key lighting, i wanted it dull, wet basically miserable to it got the convention of anger, sadness across to my target audience (teenagers).
I was at first wanting to do some kind of areal shot but then thought no because you wouldn't get that feel of closeness. With the way i have shot this part of the scene when he is sitting in front of his mothers grave it feels like you are rite there with him, feeling with him. I have left it enough to get the audience thinking about whats going on. I have done this by making sure parts of the narrative come through in my trailer. In this scene Danny has a piece of paper in his hands that seems to be from his mum, so in anybodies mind it would have sentimental value, but well watch for yourself.
This blog is showing where i got my inspiration from posters, film trailers and general everyday happenings. i will use all little details to roll together to make my finished product.

Take 1
Yes ! I have managed to finally film my first scene. It took about 30 mins to get to the Scene and maybe about a hour and a half to film. There were obviously problems that kept occurring, things such as strong winds and there was very damp ground and at some point it did actually start to rain.
I have used FINAL CUT PRO to section my different takes. I have cropped each cut to the amount that i can fit a nice transition which merges the different clips together. It took some time to do this because i wanted every clip i had to be smooth. Ive seen many A2 Production pieces that are put together quite nasty, this obviously affects the overall exhibition.
It has been a little while since i last posted anything about my film trailer. This is because of exams and actually trying to sort out the pre - production of my film. I want this piece to be excellent, i don't want it to at all look tacky. I wont be happy until i know that this trailer is the best trailer, that is my drive. I am going into the conventions of my trailer very deep. I'm putting meaning behind my shots and hopefully people will understand the meaning, for example one of my shots is of Hearts going into a phone booth after taking drugs which is shown with a extreme close up of the numbers. This is shot with a dutch angle, it keeps blurring which slowly zooms out to see Hearts try to put the phone back on its holder but fails. This could signify that Hearts is in trouble or that he is angry who knows its a teaser trailer !
